There wouldn’tbe harmful bacteria in sterile water that might be present in other sources. It’s up to you to determine how safe your filtered water is. we use distilled didn’t want to chance it.

See our insights (based on our own experience after purchasing and using the product, or based on some research work) on Himalayan Chandra Neti Pot Complete Sinus Cleansing System Starter Kit, these might be useful for better understanding.
This netwe pot has changed our life, literally. We have heard people talk about it but was skeptical. We are long time allergy sufferer. We even had surgery to fix a deviated septum in hopes that we could breath better. The surgery was successful for a short time due to our extreme allergies. After one use of this netwe pot, salt and serum we could breath. The sinus pain and pressure was gone. We are true believer. We have posted on facebook and voiced to family and friends how much we love this product.
We can’t speak to the effectiveness of netipotting, but this product is easy to use if you’re looking for a netipot. It’s easy to clean and comes with a buttload of netwe salt and a little measuring spoon. We bought it because we were suffering from a head cold that wouldn’t go away and wanted to try something to help keep our sinuses clearer. It seemed to help a bit at least. Once you’re used to it, it feels kind of good. Just don’t use this in front of a significant other or potential sexual partner. We are not sure there’s anything less attractive looking that someone with a netipot streaming through their nostrils. Like, we think we would rather fart in front a girl first before she watched us use a netipot.
Reading the instructions was a bit tedious but otherwise we believe that this is an awesome deal for a good quality netwe pot. Caution for those used who are new to this. Use distilled water unless you boil water in an extremely sanitary pot or kettle. We got a sinus infection a week after using this likely from our kettle but haven’t had one since switching to distilled water.
We are horribly allergic to our dogs. To make things worse, our dogs shed like it’s going out of style. There is dog hair all over the house, all the time, no matter how often our relative and we dust and vacuum. We also have to take claritin daily or we will feel like death. One day, our allergies were raging, searching for some kind of relief, we ordered this praying it would help. And it definitely does. But it’s not the life changing relief we hoped for. We suppose our expectations were a bit too high. We use bottled water which we heat up for 30 seconds in a glass measuring cup or in the netwe pot itself in a microwave. When using the salt and the included oil included, our nasal passages definitely feel cleaner and more open. Our eyes don’t itch as bad and we just feel a bit better. As for the cons; the relief we mentioned only lasts an hour or so. We will do this shortly before bed so we can breathe a bit easier as we fall asleep. The whole process of flushing both nostrils and clean-up takes about 10 minutes. It doesn’t sound that long, but if you’re lazy, like me, it’s noticeable. Especially when you have to do it every single day. If we don’t do it daily, it seems to lose effectiveness. Lastly, probably a personal issue, but if we don’t take our claritin, our nose is too clogged for the water to pass through, thus making this useless. It’s not the answer to allergie relief, but when combined with allergie medication and regular household cleaning, it helps a lot. It can take a few days to get used to, but you’ll eventually get the hang of it. You really need to be diligent about using this, though. If not, it won’t be as helpful as you’d like.
Far easier to use than we imagined, and less “strange”. The benefits of being able to breath outweigh the initial feeling of doing this “odd” thing. We followed the instructions carefully. We use distilled water, am careful with the amount of salt and oils, and am careful to position ourself correctly so as not to give ourself a headache. It’s a big deal for the first couple of times, then it becomes a much quicker process as you go. We have been suffering some kind of allergy for a while, and really couldn’t breathe well, especially at night. Bothersome, but not enough to go to the doctor. This helped immensely. Finding some food triggers that were causing the issue helped more, but on our way to healing this was an essential tool. We still use it regularly, just to keep things cleared up. Definitely recommend.
Love it. Switched to this kit from the plastic ones that were the same price as this one in the drugstore. Holds 7oz, and it takes a little getting used to as there is no lid and we were tipping it too far and spilling some. We don’t know if the pot is microwave safe, so we have been heating up the solution (we make it 64oz at a time and store in refrigerator) in a separate pyrex measuring cup. The salt in bulk is definitely the way to go over those packets with other brands. We have been using for a couple weeks and the jar is still like 3/4 full. With the packets we would have already needed to buy more. The netwe wereh plus seems to help some, smells pretty good too.
We have suffered from allergies our entire life. We have owned netwe pots in the past and we were a bit skeptical about spending this much on a netwe pot, but trust me. This is a good buy. The salt is easy on your system compared to salts we have purchased in the normal grocery store. The essential oil is nice too. Can’t tell if that’s doing much for us, but one major difference we have noticed is that in the past, when we are done using our netwe pot, we usually experience a period where inflammation in our nasal passage makes it so we can’t breathe through our nose for a while. Not with this.
We never realized that our dry mouth at night was caused by mouth breathing. We never thought we had sinus problems however when we would start to fall asleep, we felt congestion on the right side of our face flowing down our throat causing coughing which interrupted our sleep. The whistling from our nose and the dryness was annoying. We never get colds or have allergies. We didn’t want to take meds to dry up the sinus. This thing is a godsend. First time using, ok some came out of our mouth until we got in the correct position. Easy to use even did the exercises in the instructions. Can’t believe how open our sinuses feel and breathing seems to bring more oxygen in. We are convert.
We are pregnant and cannot use allergy medications. We also have increased allergy issues due to the pregnancy. We had always wanted to try a netwe pot anyway. So this was the perfect reason to purchase one. We love it. Sometimes we have issues with the water not draining through to the other side of our nose fast enough, so it builds up on the one side and makes our eyes water. This is likely due to poor positioning on our end and not the fault of the netwe pot. It’s a very nice looking pot and the little “netwe wereh” solution is a nice touch. We use this in the am and it keeps our sinus issues at bay all throughout the day.
We couldn’t find a ceramic netwe pot anywhere near us and then finally found this on . We used it for the first time today and loved it right away. We live in michigan, so this will be great for the winter months. It gets super dry here and everyone has sinus issues in this cold weather. We are hoping it will help keep the winter sinus infections away from our family and me. Plus the flu, which is running rampant right now. This pot worked just a described and our sinuses felt nearly 100% better right away. We love that this kit comes with the eo boost.
We tried this according to some believing that this will help to prevent covid-19 or flu. We don’t know if it’s true or not but the sinus cleansing system is a very good one and we like it a lot. One suggestion is you do need to read the instruction to get the best result. When we first got the kit, we just used it as we assumed and did not feel very well because some water got into some part of our nose and it took some time to get out. Then we went back to read the manual and realized we did it in the wrong posture. From then on, it never happened again. We use it almost every day after we went out and feel quite fresh after. Would recommend. Definitely worth the money. Very happy with the purchase.
We like it very much. Quality is excellent. We like the size of the salts container and they were very gentle and appreciate the extra bottle of nose solvent. The pot is very nice and im very appreciate of the very good instructions. We had no issues at all. The instructions give lots of suggestions and are detailed. Thank you. We would recommend this to anyone interested in purchasing a netwe pot, especially if you are first time user. It is well worth the cost for the quality is good. We doubt we will ever have to purchase another netwe pot now, just refill on salts.
A netwe pot was recommended to us after having a conversation about allergies. It was always in the back of our mind, but we didn’t purchase it until we started having congestion when the weather started getting cold. We decided on this particular one b/c it came with everything we needed (except for the water). Remember to hold your head forward while tilting it to the side so it won’t go down your throat. It fully clears our nasal passages, and we are very pleased with it. We would definitely recommend it to a friend.
This was recommended to help with seasonal allergies. We must say that so far we have not been affected as badly as before with allergies. So we think this may be doing the job. It’s a totally wierd feeling the first few times you try this – definitely do this last thing at night as the first time we tried this we got salt water all over our sleep wear and had to change. But it’s easy to get the hang of. The set includes salt and drops along with the netwe pot, so this is a good starter kit. Give this a whirl if you suffer from seasonal allergies. It may do the trick for you too. No more allergy meds is a nice idea.
The solution does help a lot. It help thinner your mucus. We would recommend to use it twice a day: before going to bed and after waking up. The first week will be a little different since it will try to clean out your mucus. After two weeks, you feel so much cleaner and almost no postnasal drip. We would recommend trying if you have chronic sinusitis like me.
After our recent f. E. S. S (sinus surgery) we experiencd a rather pungent horrific order/smell that we could not pinpoint until we learned that sinus surgery can cause many patients to experience this symptom after procedure (varies in intensity & frequency). We were miserable not just from pain of healing but this sickening development with smells. Ordering this to irrigate our sinuses was a blessing. It did wonders & we can’t imagine not having/using it daily from now on to help with allergies/sinus issues. Truly a must have item.
The netwe pot was smaller than expected but you can still use it, if you fill it up twice. So while it’s usable, it’s not convenient for someone who uses it daily like me. We prefer to use a netwe pot in the shower, instead of leaning over the sink, which can make our neck sore. So basically, we like the neti-salt and it’s container which can be refilled, but not as happy with the netwe pot. No quality issues with this purchase, just a size preference difference.
It’s great . Easy to use comes with the special himalayan salt and scoop and scented drops and easy to use instructions . And cleanses your nasal passages so well . So glad we bought one for us and our husband . We love this product and highly recommend this seller . Thank you and as always the delivery drivers are always thoughtful how they place your items and friendly if we greet them at the door .
Great starter kit. We have never done neti, and this has everything you need. Make sure to either use distilled water, or boil it for a few minutes, because there are few organisms that can live in city water supplies that will cause tremendous health problems if absorbed through the mucous membranes in your nose. We boil for 5 minutes, because we are at a mile elevation, and that’s two minutes longer than the 3 minutes recommended by health organizations at that elevation.
Our relative has been battelling sinus problems for years. We were talking about the problem at a store when a customer recommended she try a netwe pot. We ordered one for her and it worked so well we ordered one for ourself. We can attest that the pot works, and it works quickly. If you are thinking about a netwe pot, stop. Just order one. You won’t be sorry.
