Is This Better Thana Asthma Inhaler Itself?
we have never used aasthma inhaler and can’t speak on a medical prescription but we have severe allergies, congestion, etc. and use this holistic/natural Himalayan salt inhaler several times a day during allergy season and it helps immensely.
Does It Come Ready To Use?
Yes, it comes ready to use.
Can This Be Filled With Himalayan Salt ?
You can refill it. You have to take it apart. It requires tools (something thin) to wedge between the top and the sides of the salt chamber. If you look closely, you will see 4 tabs that must be disengaged, then you need to pull the top until it comes off. How Often Do You Need To Refill?
we don’t think you need to refil more often than once every 2 years.we do use our larger one most of the time, but use this smaller one for travel and in the car.

This is very handy and slips right in your pocket. It’s very light compared to the mug/pipe style so can be used more conveniently and in more places. You do need to buy replacement cartridges for a little less than half the cost of a new device. They recommend a new cartridge be put in every 90 days. Although it’s easy to suck on with the attached clear grille bottom, we take the grille bottom off when using just to make it a tiny bit easier to suck in. The device seems to have marginally improved a mild chronic infection. We continue to use it for 20 minutes (15-20 minutes is recommended) every day.
Thank you. Our sister can now carry it in her bag when needed. Though we are not sure if she will continue using it as she states that she gets a weird feeling when she used it. Maybe it’s not for her, but it could help others.
Works really well at loosening congestion in lungs. Great product.
Helps you to start breathing deeper and able to hold breath longer.
We get bronchitis almost every year – it’s just where a bad cold goes with me. This time, we never even got the cold – just went straight to our lungs. We had this inhaler on hand and we started using it right away. Our bronchitis is nowhere near as severe as it usually is, and we are sleeping better at night (so important to get rest with this problem). Just follow the directions on the package – super easy to use. Really happy with this product – highly recommended.
Works. We used to go to a salt spa, and this provides similar results.
Perfect for travelling. We have found the himalayan salt pipe and inhalers to be helpful with the asthma and copd that the doctor diagnosed us with. Had it not have been for the himalayan salt we do not believe that we could be going to the gym and putting in the hour or more that we spend there each day. But that is just our personal opinion.
We are thrilled with this. We have a full-size salt inhaler that has helped us a lot to recover when we have had a cold or bronchial irritation, but it was not practical to take with me. This little inhaler is portable and works just as well. We are very pleased.
Has been very helpful for our husband.
Really works to relieve bronchial congestion.
We have had bad asthma for years. Get a few. But you have to use them a few times a day and hit the thing like you are hitting 4 foot bong. To get the stuffdeep in your lungs. Shake it first. We just ordered 5 more. From the hairbrain department. The govt are spraying barium and aluminum to simulate ozone and block the sun to keep the plants from dying. From too much uv. It’s why the sky is not true blue anymore. The result. You breath in the stuff and you get screwed up lungs. You need this. Trust me. The ceramic ones are nice for home and office. This is portable. Nice. Pocket size.
It seems we have received and can share positive results from use. We had not previously used this so the results surprise us and will continue to share our results. We are still in process of completely using this product, we will update as we continue our use and completion of this purchase.
Salt therapy it helped a lot.
We have been using this for 3 days and it’s clearing up congestion in our lungs. We are so excited because we have been on several prescription meds that have not helped and this is.
This inhaler was the best. Hate that it’s unavailable.
We are using our rx inhaler less and we can tell a difference. It is breaking up our cough from bronchitis.
We haven’t used it as much as we should to give it a decent rating.
We have a bad case of copd. After researching salt inhalers we decided to try one. We have been using a big one and this travel one daily for over a month now and our breathing has improved considerably from where we were. We have cut way down on meds too. We quit smoking a year ago and have exaserbated twice, we haven’t been able to cough anything up until we started using a salt inhaler now we are getting all the yuk out and can breath. It’s truly been a life saver and we will continue using a salt inhaler, we are even looking into going to salt cave therapy. Would we purchase again? yes.
We have occasional asthma, brought on our mold and smoke, both irritants encountered sometimes when traveling. We find salt inhalers effective at breaking up the resultant congestion. However, the ceramic ones are heavy and not always easy to take along on trips. This little item is light, easy to carry in a bag or pocket and works for us to get relief from congestion. Our husband similarly finds his useful on his longer business trips. If you find salt inhalation an effective treatment for congestion, then this may also work for you as a portable, in-pocket device. Just be aware that it is a salt inhaler, not a spray or other type inhaler. Salt inhalers usually need about 15-20min a day to treat congestion. This one is no different but we find we can combine it with the larger inhalers when necessary i. E. Use the larger one am/pm and this, if out of home during the day and so build up the 20mins, if we do not intend to do it all at once. It is also effective as a stand alone device i. E. To use for the full time by itself. It does need specialized refills but they are currently reasonably enough priced. However, the description does not explicitly state that these refills are needed and thus constitute an ongoing expense. Hence the one star deduction. However, if you find salt inhalers effective and if you travel or are away from home regularly, then this little device is useful to have on hand.
Got it today. Delivery time was great. We used it right away and wow. We have asthma and was looking for a natural way to control it and not rely on our albuteral so much. We don’t like taking the regular “control” medication because it makes us feel horrible and haven’t been using it. Right away we could feel it helping and even now our breathing feels smoother and we are expelling phlegm from our lungs. We only realized that there was a little plastic piece blocking it halfway through so the 1st half of our session was at half strength. ?? oops. We are going to use it for the 21 days as directed and then get the refill. Breathing like this is wonderful. ??bonus= it doesn’t cost a fortune.
